The other day my little 4 year old niece saw this set of Yadah on the table and claimed that it is hers. My 30 year old colleague has asked for them when she saw a picture that I have posted. I simply love this multi-functional tint! Besides giving my cheeks a light blush, I am using it as a lip tint and even on my eyelids to hold my mineral loose eye shadow powder.

I am never a bold lip color kind of person because I don’t have a pair of well-defined lips to begin but I am obsessed lip tints, or rather, the girlish just-bitten look that only lip stains could provide.

Unlike lipstick that gives a strong color and lip gloss that is so light that it disappears the moment you step out the door, lip tint stains your lips with just a tint of long wearing color that make your pouts looking irresistibly kissable.

Yadah Sweet Milky Tint

I am practically not a lipstick kind of person. I hate how the intense pigment of the lip color would amplify my wrinkly lips and make my barely there thin lips look terribly mean.

Gloss and tints are different.

I love them!

Not only that they could give my lips a soft sparkling touch of color, they give an illusion of plumper lips too. And speaking of tint, I must say Yadah Angel Lip Tint is my utmost favorite!

Don’t be fooled by its watery texture within the bottle, this Bloody-Mary-like tint is one versatile concoction that can be used on its own as a lip stain, beneath a lip color to add intensity, over a lip color for that extra punch and on the cheeks to create that after exercise glow.

I can go on and on about how good this little angel is but the star of the post should be the Yadah Sweet Milky Tint 🙂 

Like its name implies, Yadah Sweet Milky Tint comes in a milky texture and in the sweets hue of pink and red.

When applied, this creamy tint spreads on easily without leaving any sticky after feel like some tinted gloss would. It has a pleasurable sweet taste and it is non-drying to wear on its own even without lip balm and my lips still feel moist and comfortable.

When put it on a test, my tint has lasted the entire morning and only faded slightly by noon before I ‘ate’ the color away along with my lunch. After re-applying after lunch, it survived through the day under the freezing air-con and a few glasses of water and I still get to see a visible stain of color when I got home that evening.  

The staying power is pretty impressive for a tint, I must say. 

What I have it here is Sweet Cherry, 01 and Sweet Pinky. 02.

Both shades look very Barbie-like in the bottle, which is very typical of Korean lip makeup but don’t worry, the color is pretty sheer when applied. The color can be built gradually and while the Sweet Pinky gives me a very sweet pop of pink, Sweet Cherry is great to brighten up a dull face anytime.

They are great for under other lip color too.

In my case, I use a lip crayon and I noticed that my color has stayed fresher and lasted longer 🙂

I have also tried playing with the two tone lips effect that are so popular these days by using Sweet Cherry on the entire lips and then dab Sweet Pinky in the middle and it works really well too but too bad that my poor photography skill doesn’t make it shows in picture. 

Anyway, if you are someone who prefer low maintenance lips makeup, Yadah Sweet Milky Tint makes a good choice especially in our humid weather so you are free from worry of  smudging liner and melting lipstick under the heat.

YADAH Mascaras

If you are like me, have ditched falsies for whatever so reason (in my case the longer lashes just get in the way of my specky and irritate me like a pair of windscreen wiper) but still need that extra push to ‘open up’ your eyes, here’s introducing to you two new YADAH‘s cosmetic collections:

YADAH Bloom Mascara for volume

and

YADAH High Lash Mascara for lengthening

Depending your own personal preference to choose from length or volume (and again in my case, I have pathetically short, sparse and thin lashes) so I need them both.

What I do is that after curling my lashes, I would brush on a layer of  YADAH Bloom Mascara in a zig zag motion to create volume and then apply another coat of YADAH High Lash Mascara to lengthen the lashes. 

Though the brush would picks up just the right amount and deposits the mascara evenly onto the lashes, it is always good to gently wipe off any excess onto a piece of tissue paper before applying to avoid clumping and smudging. The trick here is to wiggle the wand as you apply to separate the lashes  and if you want a  more dramatic va-va-voom effect, you could slowly build up the density by keep on topping up another coat of the mascara till the effect that you want to achieve.  

For myself,  I want natural, fuller and longer looking lashes so I am happy with just a coat of YADAH High Lash Mascara over YADAH Bloom Mascara.

What’s worthy about these YADAH Mascaras is that they don’t weigh down my lashes so my curls remained intact for long hours.

They have also remained smudge-free and flake-free on my teary eyes after 10 hours at work, a round drinks at a smoky pub and a sad mid-night movie thereafter.

Contrary to some other long lasting mascaras that are difficult to remove, removing and washing off is a breeze! Like I would do with removing the rest of my eye makeup, I need only to dab on  cotton pad with cleansing oil (I am using Skin Watcher Natural Deep Cleansing Oil) and the mascara would dissolved and transferred onto the cotton pad.

After washing, my eyes area is clean and free from residues or stubborn stains and no way would I look like a dark eye circle raccoon!

 My verdict: great lasting  power and hassle free removal!
